I didn't mean to publish on my blog every single trinket I made but my husband insisted on sharing my newest project with you so I had no choice. The story of these two small earrings is quite funny because initially I wanted them to look completely different. To tell the truth, I've created them a sort of accidentally.

Recently, I've decided to make sketches of every single piece of jewellery design that comes up to my mind. I must admit I'm a really bad draftperson. However, I suspect that it's the only way for me to refrain from buying unneccessary materials and cut the costs of my online purchases. One thing led to another and I sketched the following earring.


My husband called it 'Newton' since it reminded him of the famous scientist's haircut. Well, now you've got a proof that I most certainly am a bad draftperson.

Anyway, I began to change my initial design during the creation phase and decided not to care about the poor drawing anymore. I'm sure that if you take a closer look at the final product you'll eventually find some similarities with the sketch above, won't you?
