The beginning of April was very intense for me since I finally found the courage to "go to the people" and present my products at the Beaders Best 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany. It was a 3-day event organized by 'Perlen Poesie' within confines of the annual trade fair called Mineralien, Fossilien, Schmuck (minerals, fossils, jewelry).

Visitors of the event had a rare opportunity to see and purchase countless sorts of jewellery – either beaded or made of gold or silver – at one place. Certainly, there were also plenty exhibitors offering huge varieties of minerals and all kinds of components necessary for jewellery makers.

As you might expect, I was interested the most in the stands located in my section where artists from different countries were showing their breathtaking items of beaded jewellery. Additionally, many of them offered individual workshops for visitors and presented their outstanding pieces during special shows.

I must admit that I was both surprised and very pleased to see so many men supporting their wifes and girlfriends throughout the fair. We all know how important it is to have someone we can rely on while running our little entrepreneurships.

All in all, the fair was a very valuable experience for me. I have never met so many creative people at one place before. As it soon turned out, they were all extremely kind and cheerful. We had a great chance to share our views and inspire each other. Moreover, I managed to gather a dozen of priceless opinions from people interested in my products. It was wonderful to hear compliments regarding my items and meet the visitors who were likely to wear the jewellery I made.

I really loved the feeling of being a part of the beading society! It made me much more confident that I am following the right direction.
